Christmas Eve 24.12.2025

A candle-lit Finnish Christmas Eve in Sicily - tradition reimagined through craft, nostalgia, and warmth.

This Christmas Eve, Five Seasons transforms into a northern home by candlelight.
“Finnish Table” is a one-night-only celebration of heritage, silence, and generosity - a multi-course feast echoing the comfort of a Finnish joulupöytä, re-interpreted through Sicilian craft and winter produce.

Prologue - Silent Snow
Cold-smoked whitefish on rye crisp, dill pollen, pickled cucumber, mustard cream.

Sea - Gravlax
Beet-cured salmon with sweet mustard–dill sauce, compressed apple, horseradish snow.

Forest - Cep & Barley Velouté
Browning butter, chive oil, toasted rye crumb

Interlude - Glögi Consommé
Warm spiced red wine, sour cherry, orange zest.

The Main - Joulukinkku
Oven-baked ham with mustard-breadcrumb crust, roasting jus, prune marmalade.

Served with traditional lanttulaatikko, porkkanalaatikko, imelletty perunalaatikko, rosolli with smetana, winter pickles, rye bread, and strong mustard.

Epilogue - Rice Porridge
The hidden almond, cinnamon sugar, melted butter, gingerbread shard, whipped cream.

A quiet, generous feast for body and memory - Finnish roots meeting Sicilian warmth.
